This post about
Google adsense alternatives was supposed to be my next post after I published the one about how my account was

banned but, due to some unexpected circumstances that occurred on the blog last time, I was unable to write it.
In case you don’t know, my
Google adsense account was disabled
some weeks ago for no good reason at all, it was just like you passing
through a street and someone suddenly comes up and slaps you without
giving you any good reason for his action, what will be your reaction to
that? In my humble opinion, it’s either the person is mad or he is
a bully.
That was exactly what Google is doing to many
bloggers/publishers
today. When I got that email from them, I wrote a post about it so that
my readers will tell me what they think and probably, give me some good
Google adsense alternatives. Now, just as I expected, that post raised
some interesting discussion that made me to write more on it.
Most of you suggested that there are no other Google adsense
alternatives out there, that they are still the best while, others gave
me some really good substitutes and I finally went and conducted my own
research too. I have no doubt however that Google is the best contextual
advertising program out there but, during my research, I was able to
come up with some Google adsense alternatives that is really interesting
and is worth your trial.
Some of the companies I will mention here were suggested to me by you
guys, while I dogged up the others myself. So, let’s stop the long
story for now and get to the main business right? Let’s go.
1.
Infolinks
Infolinks was the very first Google adsense alternative that was recommended to me when Google slapped me. It was my friend
Babanature
that first told me about them, I now went and created an account with
them immediately and by the grace of God, they approved me.
The way infolinks works is simply by scanning your content in
real-time and double underlining your most valuable keywords. This
creates an intelligent, interactive atmosphere where users connect with
relevant brand messages and click to learn more. Infolinks balances
relevancy and payouts to keep your content clean and your earnings
flowing. Maintain complete control over the look and feel of your site
by fully customizing the appearance and volume of In-Text ads on your
pages.
From my research, infolinks is a very good adsense alternative. Just
like adsense, you can use them on all of your sites once they approve
you but, the only different is that you will have to add the other sites
one by one and they will check them to see if they meet up their
requirements. I suggest you go through their site to learn more. Sign up

2.
Skimlinks:
I heard about skimlinks from
Spencer Haws
of nichepursuits.com who happens to be one of Google adsense victim.
Skimlinks We’ll do your affiliate marketing for you – turning links and
keywords in your text into their equivalent affiliate links, leaving you
free to write and focus on your site. Skimlinks is so seamless; your
readers won’t feel distracted: no advertising, no banners, just simple
relevant links to retailers they love.
No matter what your niche – they’ve got you covered. From fishing to
fashion, technology to travel, you can earn through an amazing 17,000+
different online retailers through Skimlinks.

Join us and you’ll get instant access to earn from them all! They also have an array of tools to help you do more:
SkimRSS helps you earn even when your content is distributed via RSS; and
SkimShortener
boosts your revenues even when you publish content via email, Twitter
or Facebook. Now, isn’t that awesome? I’ve not created an account with
them yet, but I will. Sign up with them

3. Kontera:

Kontera was another Google adsense alternative that my friend
King Babajide
told me about when I reached out to him. Babajide was also a victim of
Google’s injustice. Kontera provides publishers with incremental
advertising revenues from their mobile or PC web pages.
Kontera specializes in bringing highly relevant content and
information from brands, and as a result their ads are often viewed as
native ads that are least disruptive to the consumer experience. They
provide content-powered display offerings, as well as their in-content
product family (in-text and and in-image), and their unique suite of
mobile monetization products.
Join Kontera’s Content Syndication Program to feature your sites’
content in premium placements across the digital eco-system and in
association with the top global brands. Kontera’s Content Activation
Platform powers the Content Syndication Program, which features previews
of your content in likely to convert placements in mobile, web and
social contexts.
If you’re still looking for good Google adsnese alternatives then,
you must give Kontera a shot. I’ve heard a lot of good stuffs about
them. Publishers benefit from additional exposure and incremental
traffic without any additional effort. Sign up with them

4. Media.net

It was at Johnchow.com that I first heard of media.net last year. I
quickly went and applied for their contextual advertising program and
they rejected me, why? Because I was just starting then and they have
some requirements your site must meet before you’re qualified. Since its
founding, Media.net has constantly broken new ground in building
innovative contextual advertising solutions. Media.net powers the Yahoo!
Bing Network Contextual Ads program.
Media.net exclusively manages technology, business operations and
relationships with respect to publishers worldwide for this program.
Today, Media.net is a leading global contextual advertising company that
provides a wide range of advertising and traffic monetization solutions
to a substantial and diversified client base.
With more than 400 employees, Media.net has one of the largest teams
worldwide building a global contextual advertising business. The way
they do their own is that you’ll have to first request an invite from
them, if they go through your site and found it worthy of running their
program, they will now invite you.

5. Chitika
Chitika was the very second contextual advertising network I signed
up with while I was waiting for Google to approve my adsense account
last year. But, to be frank with you, I stopped using them because
I didn’t like the way they operate as of then. I hope they’ve improved
now.
Chitika’s network of over 250,000 publishers leverage its targeting
and optimization technology - a delicate blend of “Art + Science”- to
deliver intent driven ads to the right user, at the right time and in
the right place. High quality search-targeted, local and mobile ads are
drawn from an extensive network of advertiser partners including;
Yahoo!, Superpages, yellowbook and ServiceMagic, among others.
Chitika ads perform on their own but can also generate additional
revenue when used alongside other ad types and services. Publishers of
all sizes and demographics are increasing earnings with Chitika ads.

6. Clicksor:
I have also heard about clicksor, but not much. Clicksor offers
webmasters the opportunity to earn additional income by simply
incorporating a selection of clickable text or displaying targeted
contextual advertising banners on their websites or blogs. Place our ads
along with other networks to get 100% fill rate for your site.
You can even set minimum prices for CPV, CPC, CPM, and CPI ads. If
the minimum price of your ads is not met, your default ads are put up
instead to ensure that you are still making the money that you deserve.

7. Bidvertiser:
I hope you no longer have any doubt about if there exist other Google
adsense alternatives. Bidvertiser is another program most people are
talking about. Join BidVertiser now and we will turn your advertising
space into cash! Simply display the BidVertiser ads on your website and
let advertisers bid against each other.
We will always
display the highest bidders to maximize your revenue so you will make

As you can see, they are many and more Google adsense alternatives
out there that people don’t know. I was unable to explain all the other
sites here because the post is already long so, I’ll advice you take
your time to check them out. We should always have a substitute in
whatever we’re doing in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Google can wake up one morning and send you the kind of email they
sent me, and if that happens, you will always have something to fall
back on.
Finally, to all those that Google has slapped too, don’t worry,
we can always get back on track somehow, all we have to do is clean the slap and keep moving, don’t even ask him why because, he won’t tell you.
It might also interest you to know that they finally rejected my appeal.
So, I will try the suggestion that my good friends Harleena Singh, Chadrack Irobogo and Emmanuel and some other people gave me. That is by using another email to create another adsense account.
Thanks for reading this far. Now, over to you. Have you heard of
any/all the companies I mentioned here? Do you know of any other good
Google adsense alternative that is good?
Please share with us. Don’t forget to tweet and share this post with
your loved ones, they might also be looking for such information.
